Paddy and the team at Scales were fantastic. Paddy provided excellent customer service, great insight and tips. On top of that he was a great driver. We had a groups of 8 traveling the west coast and were thrilled we didn’t drive. Would recommend Paddy and the Scales team to anyone.

First of all, I have to say I am not a person who writes reviews, but in this case it is absolutely essential. If you are booking a trip to Ireland and looking for a driver, Scales Coaches is a MUST (more specifically with the bus driver Paddy Mcguire- also affectionately known as Bus Man Paddy). Our family of 12 hired Scales for a one week tour of southern Ireland and Paddy was the key to the success of this trip. Not only did we ride in supreme comfort, Paddy provided passionate, interesting and humorous historical information as well as endless anectdotal entertainment. We learned so much about each destination and about Ireland in general, both present and past.He felt like an old friend and became an honorary family member in the short time we knew him!! His attention to detail and his relentless effort to make every experience absolutely perfect is simply unmatched. He is a NATIONAL TREASURE!!! Words cannot express how grateful we are that we hired Scales Coaches and Paddy as our bus driver. This trip will be remembered as one of the highlights of our lives- and that is the absolute TRUTH.

Paddy is the man! What an experience with him at the wheel. Paddy is interesting in every respect, from his encyclopedic knowledge of Irish history to his carefully curated tie choices. And he may be the best three point turn man in the business. Thank you for a fantastic trip.

Paddy made our trip and 11 out of 10. Surpassing every iota of expectations,Paddy‘s personality and enthusiasm and intelligent insight added a whole other element to our experience. He was a wonderful person to see first thing in the morning, as well as at the end of an exhausting golf round where you knew you were in very capable, nurturing hands. He is much more than just a bus driver. I cannot say enough, good things about this man. How he would navigate those narrow streets while sharing with us points of interest and putting up with our rambunctiousness is beyond me!

Paddy toured 9 buddies around Ireland for a week. Despite the long road trips, Paddy made every moment memorable and enjoyable. He is precisely what every tour guide ought to be. Friendly, kind and someone who just fits in every group- from friends to family. Could not recommend more highly if you’re looking for a wonderful way to see Ireland. My only regret was that he couldn’t join us for a round of golf. Keep up the great work Paddy!

Paddy McGuire was a wonderful driver for our golf trip to SW Ireland! He was fun, friendly and very thoughtful to make sure we had a great time and all our travels were seamless.

Our family of 8 visited Ireland from July 24-29th. We were most fortunate to have Paddy McGuire as our driver/guide for this entire leg of our three country trip. Paddy’s knowledge of Ireland, its history, geography and sites was truly impressive. From Dublin to Belfast, Tollymore Forest, Galway, the Cliffs of Moher and stops in between Paddy was engaging and very informative. His driving was excellent throughout and,given some of the narrow Irish roads, quite remarkable. After getting to know the family a bit, Paddy took us to some places not on our original itinerary including the oldest pub in all of Ireland and a petting zoo near the Cliffs of Moher for the grandchildren. There may be other guide/drivers as friendly and knowledgeable as Paddy McGuire however I’m certain there are none better!

BusManPaddy is THE BEST!!!! He made the trip!!

If there were more stars Paddy would get them. He works hard to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of at all times. He drives like a King thru the twists and turns of Kerry's Ring. He parks that couch like it is a compact!!!! He has a depth of knowledge of the countryside and is willing to share it with you. The couch is clean and new and very comfortable. We had a diverse age range 70 to 3 years old, everyone loved Paddy. The Hensley Clan PS We hope we are lucky enough to get Paddy the next time we are in Ireland!
